God has absolutely perfect timing. But guess what? He operates on His appointed time. Not on your time. Not on my time. On His time. "How long, O Lord?" is the cry of those who have had to wait on the Lord. Just read Psalm 13 and Psalm 35.

God determines how long you wait. God determines the time.

God promised Abraham that he would have a seed, and he waited for 25 years. Jacob waited 14 years to marry Rachel. Joseph languished in prison for 3 years for a crime that he did not commit. The Israelites spent 40 years on the backside of the desert. Jonah waited in the belly of the fish for 3 days. Jesus waited in the tomb for 3 days. 

 

God appoints the wait times.  It is His appointed waiting room. But here's the awesome thing! God came through for Abraham, as He promised. Jacob did marry Rachel. Joseph was promoted in Egypt. The Israelites made it to the Promised Land. Jonah wasn't swallowed up. Jesus did not see decay. If you are a Christian, this is a wonderful encouragement!

God may require you to wait. But He will not leave you there. What we hope to accomplish during our time is to build your trust in the perfect timing of God!
